The Hotel Manager (Arun) was very welcoming and friendly! I felt so important on check in. They allowed my early check in and late check out request which is usually hard to consider especially if the hotel is busy. He always check on us on how are we going so far with the stay since it is kinda long term stay. The location of OAKS South Yarra is great! Close to train and tram station to the city and ROD LAVER Arena if you are after to watch the Australian Open. Woolies, 7 eleven, IGA and restaurants are just walking distance. Staying at oaks is like, "Home away from home". I did not have any issues during my 3 weeks stay. Very quiet place, Beds are comfy, my apartment has washing machine, dryer, cooking facilities, and with perfect air-conditioning!

We liked the area. It was right across the train station which was 2 stops away from Yarra River near Crown. The staff were very helpful especially Sunita who went above and beyond to assist us. The apartment was suitable for our needs but it felt a bit small, travelling with our 1.5 year old. There were nearby coffee shops and cafes which were helpful in the mornings. Paid parking was nearby and staff were very helpful with this. Great location, great staff with good facilities! 👍

The apartment was situated very near to the train station and tram stops so that was great for us as we were travelling by public transport during our stay. The apartment was spacious, super clean and comfortable. We were able to enjoy the bars, restaurants and shopping in South Yarra which were all within an easy walk of the apartment. Staff at the reception area were always welcoming and provided us with some good advice about what to see on our short trip.

The outstanding personable service of Receptionist, Jenny and Manager, Arun. Both are very welcoming and do not hesitate to go the extra mile, for example in assisting tracking down a phone lost on an Uber ride. The location is great being a couple of minutes from the South Yarra train station, which links directly into Melbourne's CBD, and just off Toorak Road for cafes and a range of restaurants.

Location was perfect - close to shopping, restaurants, 2 minute walk to train station. We were upgraded to a top floor unit with amazing city views. Even though were very close to train station, there was not much noise from trains - windows/balcony door seemed double glazed. We also got earlier access to our room which was fabulous. Staff at front desk were always cheery, smiling and helpful.
